In addition to her clinical excellence, Dr. Zhong is a highly accomplished academic surgeon. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery and the inaugural Belinda Stronach Chair in Breast Cancer Reconstruction at the University Health Network (UHN). She also serves as the Clinical and Research Director of the Breast Reconstruction Program at UHN and Mount Sinai Hospitals—two of North America’s leading centers for advanced breast reconstruction techniques.
A dedicated researcher and educator, Dr. Zhong earned her Master of Health Sciences in Clinical Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health in 2011. She has published nearly 100 peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals and is a highly sought-after speaker at international surgical and academic conferences.
