YOUR CONSULTATION

Expect your consultation to be a comprehensive one, during which you’ll discuss your goals and expectations of surgery, undergo a medical assessment to ensure you are physically and emotionally ready, as well as address all of your questions and concerns. You’ll receive reliable information regarding the procedure, including your realistic potential outcome and the related side effects, risks and complications. You won’t feel rushed—you can also take this time to find out if surgery is right for you. An information packet will be given to you containing the details of the procedure you’re interested in, so you can review it at home.

After your consultation, your surgeon will then provide you with a summary of your consultation and a specific quote of the cosmetic surgery in which you’re interested. The cost of surgery will detail all fees for the procedure except for any prescription medications you may require. This information is generally sent to you within 24 hours of your consultation.

There is a nominal fee for the initial consultation regarding a surgical procedure with our plastic surgeons. However, at the time of booking your consultation, you’ll be asked a couple of pre-screening questions (for example, regarding your Body Mass Index) to verify your potential viability for your procedure. The amount paid is deducted from the cost of your procedure should you decide to go ahead. The cost for the consultation is $100.

NON-SURGICAL COSMETIC PROCEDURES

If your requested procedure is non-surgical and does not involve an injection or medication, you’ll meet with Petra Hughes, our head medical aesthetician. Petra has over 10 years of experience as a medical aesthetician and routinely teaches doctors, nurses and other aestheticians how to accurately perform a variety of medi-spa procedures to achieve optimal results. Your consultation with Petra involves an assessment of your concern, a discussion of your medical history and your expectations. She’ll also ask you about your current lifestyle habits. This in-depth examination enables Petra to determine the most suitable course of treatment.
